About Ayanfe

My name is Ayanfe and I am a Chemistry educator based in Nigeria with 15 years of teaching experience. I hold a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Ilorin, a teaching qualification from the National Teachers Institute, and I am a fully licensed professional teacher registered with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN).
But beyond my qualifications, what drives me every single day is one thing — I genuinely believe that every student is capable of understanding Chemistry. Not memorizing it. Not cramming it. Actually understanding it.
I became a Chemistry teacher because I saw too many bright, hardworking students fail not because they lacked intelligence but because they were taught to recite instead of reason. That broke my heart. So I built a completely different approach — one that starts with how a student thinks before it touches any syllabus or textbook.
I am patient, structured, and deeply invested in every student I work with. I don't just teach lessons — I build foundations. And I keep parents fully informed every step of the way because a child's education is a family journey, not just a classroom exercise.
When I am not teaching, I am developing better ways to explain Chemistry concepts and creating resources that make science accessible, exciting and real for every kind of learner.

About the lesson

I have spent 15 years teaching Chemistry and I hold one strong conviction — no student should ever cram or memorise Chemistry. My job is to train you to think like a scientist.
Every student I work with begins with a Science Thinking Audit — a short diagnostic conversation where I identify exactly how you currently think about Chemistry, what misconceptions are blocking your progress, and the fastest path to your target grade. From there I build your personal Foundation Map so you always know where we are and where we are going.
My lessons connect every Chemistry concept to something real and observable first — before we touch any textbook or syllabus. When you understand why a reaction happens, you never forget it. When you only memorise it, it disappears under exam pressure.
I prepare students for IGCSE, GCSE, WAEC, NECO and JAMB Chemistry. Whether you are in SS1, SS2, SS3 or preparing for Cambridge and Edexcel examinations, my approach builds the kind of understanding that performs under pressure.
Parents receive a written update after every session. You will always know exactly what your child learned, what to reinforce at home, and what we are working toward next.
