An experienced educator teaching general, organic, medicinal, inorganic, and physical chemistry. I taught various chemistry subjects to different grades of students including pre-professional classes (pre-medical, pre-engineering, and pre-pharma) for general chemistry, undergraduate for organic chemistry, and post-graduate students for medicinal organic chemistry.

a) I believe teaching is a two-way process. The participation of the students is equally important. Questioning and reminding the students about the fundamental concepts keeps the students' interaction alive throughout the lecture.
b) I feel that the problematic way of teaching is more effective. After finishing one topic, I raise the problems associated with the topic and allow students to think and give a solution. Once the problem is clear to the students, it becomes much easier to inculcate the solution/ concept.
c) I always follow the philosophy of simple to complex. Once the students are familiar with the simple concepts, it is convenient to follow the complicated topic.
d) It is very essential to keep eye contact with the students which I never forget.
e) I believe in the philosophy that a perfect teacher is a perfect actor. The body language in combination with the words makes the flow of information from the teacher to the students more effective.
