About Lucy

Hello and welcome :) I have a passion for learning, development and growth—not just in academics, but in all aspects of life. I believe that every experience is an opportunity to learn and we grow best when we learn from each other. My teaching journey has taken me through a variety of settings, from American summer camps to British primary schools and also international schools in the UAE. Each experience has shaped my approach, allowing me to adapt to different learners, cultures and educational needs. For me, teaching is more than just delivering lessons — it’s about building confidence, fostering curiosity and helping learners see their own potential. Whether supporting students in core subjects, guiding EAL learners or working with parents to enhance home learning, my goal is always to create a positive, enriching, and supportive environment.

About the lesson

I take a structured yet flexible approach to tutoring, ensuring lessons are engaging, personalised and focused on real understanding. My teaching fosters confidence, curiosity and a love for learning.
