About Emrys
I am a Biology tutor with over 10 years of teaching experience and a MSc in Systems Biology. My main teaching focus is evolutionary biology, the science that explains how life changes and diversifies. Evolution is not just a theory. It is a framework that connects many biological ideas.
Students learn about natural selection, adaptation, speciation, and the long history of life on Earth. These topics help explain the patterns seen in living organisms. I teach using a holistic perspective, linking different scientific disciplines together.
Evidence is essential in understanding evolution. We study fossils, comparative anatomy, and genetic information to explore evolutionary relationships. These tools help reconstruct ancient biological histories. They also show how modern species evolved.
I often teach curious learners and anthropology students interested in human origins and biodiversity. Questions and exploration are encouraged. Evolution is one of the greatest stories in science. Together we explore the extraordinary journey of life across billions of years.

My biology teaching approach focuses on practical understanding and strong conceptual foundations. We begin with core topics such as human anatomy and physiology. These subjects explain how the body is structured and how it functions.
Students learn about organ systems such as the circulatory, respiratory, digestive, and endocrine systems. I also introduce basic disease mechanisms to show how biological systems can be affected. Medical terminology is explained in simple language.
I use diagrams, biological illustrations, and clinical examples to explain complex processes. Visual learning helps students understand faster.
Lessons are personalized and interactive. Students receive guidance and practice to strengthen their understanding. Each session aims to develop confidence and a deeper respect for human biology.
