For over three decades, I have had the immense privilege of serving as an Imam and Khatib, guiding my community in matters of faith and practice. My journey in knowledge began at the source: Al-Azhar University in Cairo, where I earned my Licentiate degree in the Fundamentals of Religion and Islamic Advocacy (Usul al-Din wa al-Da'wah).

This formal education provided me with a deep, structured understanding of the Quran, Tajweed, Islamic Jurisprudence (Fiqh), Theology (Aqeedah), and the Arabic language in its classical form. It instilled in me the rigorous methodology of Al-Azhar, which balances reverence for authentic tradition with clarity of explanation.

Now based in London, I am passionate about bridging this classical knowledge to Muslims living in the West and to seekers of knowledge worldwide through online teaching. My long experience in the pulpit and in community leadership has taught me how to communicate complex ideas in a simple, relatable, and compassionate manner—whether to a child starting their Quran journey, a new Muslim seeking understanding, or an advanced student refining their recitation.

I am not just a teacher of texts; I am a mentor dedicated to nurturing a genuine, heartfelt connection with Allah through His words and the teachings of His Prophet (peace be upon him). My lessons are infused with the wisdom of lived experience, patience, and a sincere desire to see my students succeed in this life and the next.

My Core Qualifications:

Licentiate Degree in Usul al-Din & Da'wah from Al-Azhar University.

30+ Years of Experience as a practicing Imam, Khatib, and community teacher.

Specialization: Quranic Recitation (Tilawah) & Perfect Tajweed, Islamic Foundations for Beginners/Reverts, Practical Arabic for Communication & Understanding.

Resident of London, offering a unique perspective for students in Western communities.

I welcome students of all ages, backgrounds, and levels. Let me help you build a strong, correct, and meaningful foundation in your Islamic knowledge.

لأكثر من ثلاثين عامًا، كان لي امتياز عظيم أن أخدم كإمام وخطيب، وأقود مجتمعي في شؤون الإيمان والعمل. بدأت رحلتي في المعرفة من منبعها: جامعة الأزهر في القاهرة، حيث حصلت على درجة الليسانس في أصول الدين والدعوة.

وفر لي هذا التعليم الرسمي فهمًا عميقًا ومنهجيًا للقرآن والتجويد والفقه الإسلامي والعقيدة واللغة العربية بصورتها الكلاسيكية. وغرس فيّ المنهجية الدقيقة للأزهر، التي توازن بين تقديس التقاليد الأصيلة ووضوح الشرح.

والآن، ومقيمي في لندن، أنا شغوف بربط هذه المعرفة الكلاسيكية بالمسلمين المقيمين في الغرب وبطالبي العلم في جميع أنحاء العالم من خلال التدريس عبر الإنترنت. علمتني خبرتي الطويلة في المنبر وفي القيادة المجتمعية كيفية توصيل الأفكار المعقدة بطريقة بسيطة ومألوفة وحانية – سواء لطفل يبدأ رحلته مع القرآن، أو لمسلم جديد يسعى للفهم، أو لطالب متقدم يصقل تلاوته.

أنا لست مجرد مدرس للنصوص؛ أنا مرشد ملتزم بتعزيز ارتباط صادق وقلبي بالله من خلال كلماته وتعاليم نبيه (صلى الله عليه وسلم). دروسي مليئة بحكمة التجربة الحياتية، والصبر، والرغبة الصادقة في رؤية طلابي ينجحون في الدنيا والآخرة.

درجة الليسانس في أصول الدين والدعوة من جامعة الأزهر.

خبرة تزيد عن 30 سنة كإمام وخطيب ومدرس مجتمعي ممارس.

التخصص: التلاوة القرآنية وإتقان التجويد، والأساسيات الإسلامية للمبتدئين/المهتدين الجدد، والعربية العملية للتواصل والفهم.

مقيم في لندن، مما يمنحني رؤية فريدة لأبناء المجتمعات الغربية.

About the lesson

About your lessons
My lessons are a bridge between the rich tradition of Al-Azhar scholarship and the modern student's needs, no matter where they are in the world.

For Quran & Tajweed:
We will start by building a strong foundation in correct pronunciation (Makharij al-Huroof) and the rules of Tajweed, step by step. Whether you are a complete beginner, want to perfect your recitation (Hifz), or aim for an Ijazah, I tailor the path to your pace and goal. I use clear, visual methods to explain rules and provide constant, gentle correction.

For Arabic Language:
My focus is on practical, usable Arabic. For Islamic purposes, we will study Quranic Arabic to understand the words of Allah. For daily life, we will develop conversation skills, grammar, and vocabulary. I create a supportive environment where making mistakes is part of learning, especially for non-native speakers and new Muslims.

For Islamic Studies & Fiqh:
I explain the principles of faith (Aqeedah), worship (Ibadat), and Islamic manners in a clear, relatable way, linking them to evidence from the Quran and Sunnah. These lessons are ideal for reverts, young adults, or anyone seeking to ground their practice in sound knowledge.

My Teaching Style:

Patient and Encouraging: I have taught students of all ages for decades.

Structured yet Flexible: Each lesson has a clear objective, but adapts to your questions.

Interactive: I believe in dialogue, not just lecturing. Your participation is key.

Practical: We focus on application—how to recite, how to speak, how to apply Islamic rulings.

دروسي هي جسر بين ثراء التقاليد العلمية للأزهر واحتياجات الطالب الحديث، أينما كان في العالم.

للقرآن والتجويد
سنبدأ ببناء أساس قوي في النطق الصحيح (مخارج الحروف) وقواعد التجويد، خطوة بخطوة. سواء كنت مبتدئًا تمامًا، أو ترغب في إتقان تلاوتك (حفظ)، أو تهدف للحصول على إجازة، فأنا أُعدّد المسار ليناسب سرعتك وهدفك. أستخدم طرقًا مرئية واضحة لشرح القواعد وأقدم تصحيحًا مستمرًا ولطيفًا.

للغة العربية
تركيزي على العربية العملية والقابلة للاستخدام. للأغراض الإسلامية، سندرس العربية القرآنية لفهم كلام الله. للحياة اليومية، سنطور مهارات المحادثة والقواعد والمفردات. أخلق بيئة داعمة حيث يكون ارتكاب الأخطاء جزءًا من التعلم، خاصة لغير الناطقين بالعربية والمسلمين الجدد.

للدراسات الإسلامية والفقه
أشرح مبادئ العقيدة (أصول الدين) والعبادات والأخلاق الإسلامية بطريقة واضحة ومرتبطة بالحياة، وربطها بالأدلة من القرآن والسنة. هذه الدروس مثالية للمهتدين الجدد، أو الشباب، أو أي شخص يسعى لتأصيل ممارساته على علم صحيح.
