About Gregor
I am an experienced, well rounded educator having worked across the state, private and international sectors in the UK and abroad. I am qualified as a teacher of History and the Humanities, with experience teaching English as a foreign language, English Literature and Music.
My philosophy in teaching is to allow ourselves to be led by wonder and curiosity first, and then develop skills which will serve students for a lifetime beyond school. The ideal place to learn is at the juncture between wonder and challenge. I will push you to achieve your absolute best and to realise your goals. I will be your biggest champion in getting you there. The way that we get to our destination is all part of the adventure of learning...!

Do you need a little help developing your skills for GCSE/A-Level History? Do you love History as a general topic, but find yourself a little bamboozled as to how it's taught in school? I'm here to help.
History is fascinating, and one of my great passions. The way I teach is designed to ignite your fascination in this ancient and noble subject.
What we are doing when we study history, at the root, is inquiring into what it means to be human. All the glories and triumphs; all the darkness and horror. There are heroes and villains to be found throughout all of human history. In many ways, studying real events of the past is often far more interesting and, yes, stranger than fiction.
We will work on the tools you need to develop to study history well, like incisive source analysis and how to write an A-band essay. With degrees in History & Humanities, and Law, you will be in safe hands: I have plenty of experience in writing, research, and forming logical, coherent arguments.
