About Yueqi
Hi, I am Yueqi. Currently, I am a second year student studying Mathematics with Economics at UCL. I am a native speaker of Cantonese, Mandarin and also a proficient user of English. I obtained an overall 8.5 in IELTS before I finished my A-level studies with excellent results (Maths A*, Further Maths A*, Economics A, Geography A). In the last year, I have been tutoring several students IELTS for more than 50 hours. I also tutored foreign students studying A-level maths to familiarise them with the British syllabus. In addition, I also assisted in teaching Chinese to beginners as a weekly volunteering event in my first year of uni. My tutees ranged from middle school students to postgraduate students. I am passionate about teaching as it is a pleasure witnessing the progress and growth of my students. With my previous experience in tutoring, I have become more confident in responding to each tutee's specific academic needs. Although my tutorials are planned to be very efficient, I put equal effort into ensuring the sessions do not get stressful.
