About Katie
I enjoy watching students grow in confidence and learn how to take creative risks. Drama should be playful and fun and I like to create a safe environment to learn, make mistakes and build truthful characters. I also offer academic tutoring in both Drama and English Literature where we analyse the text for all aspects of performance such as set design, lighting, sound and costume.

Trained at Central School of Speech and Drama. I specialise in acting coaching for all levels. I have experience from GCSE and A-level exams through to drama school entrance exams. I also have two Masters degrees in English Literature and Classical Studies and have tutored in those subjects too. I approach all drama lessons as a director would by building confidence in my students through a range of breathing and movement exercises to enable students to work on both body and voice. I create a safe environment in which to play and unlock creativity, gently guiding the student to find the truth in their performance.
