As a professional tutor with a Master’s Degree in Education from James Madison University, I am dedicated to helping students succeed. As a tutor, my approach is centered around creating a positive and engaging learning environment where students feel empowered and confident to take on challenges. I believe that every child has the potential to succeed when given the right tools, support, and motivation. My goal is not only to help students understand the material but also to develop a genuine love for learning.
I offer interactive online tutoring for 2nd & 3rd graders, using engaging tools like Gimkit, Kahoot!, Playfactile and Zoom to personalize lessons in math, reading, and writing. My student-centered approach builds confidence, fosters growth, and makes learning fun and accessible.

I create creative, engaging lessons that make learning fun and memorable. I focus on building confidence by celebrating small wins and nurturing emotional resilience. My adaptability ensures each lesson is tailored to the student’s unique pace and needs, whether they require more time or an added challenge.
Lessons are for:
Grade Level: Primarily 2nd and 3rd grade students online, but I also work with younger students or those up to grade 5 needing enrichment or remediation.
Subjects: Math, reading, and writing, plus support in study skills, organization, and social-emotional learning.
Goals: Ideal for students needing academic catch-up, enrichment, or homework/exam preparation in an online setting.
In this online space, I ensure that learning is not only effective but exciting, making the most of digital tools to keep students engaged and motivated!
