About Benjamin
A little about me, I am a native of Shanghai, China. Relocated to Cupertino, California for high school where I was an instructional tutor and teacher assistant for AP Chinese from my sophomore to senior year (3 Years). After that, I joined the United States Marine Corps as a Combat Aviator and held the role of flight instructor and Chinese interpreter (7 Years). Currently, I am a BS/MBA student at the University of Chicago and actively teaching Chinese to second language students in France.

Hello, everyone! My name is Jia (Benjamin), and I am excited to introduce myself as your potential Chinese language tutor. With a deep appreciation for the culture and language, combined with extensive experience in teaching/tutoring, I understand that teaching Chinese should not only focus on the manner of articulation and pronunciation but also address the inherent linguistic, psychological, and social challenges that often hinder new language learners from using what they have been taught in a classroom in a real-world setting.
