About Shalini
I am a mom but I do try to find the time to read once in awhile while juggling school, tuitions and family. I am an avid reader (did I repeat that?). I value my Kindle more than I do my iPhone. Losing the former would probably leave me with weeks of depressive episodes. Most of my students say I'm cool, but that's only because I let them use my invisible sticky notes for annotations. I love talking about books, both classics and contemporary. And I always get recommendations from my students and read that for summer/winter break and update them about what I think.

I prepare A levels and IGCSE students for their exams by sharing exam strategies. My lessons are always divided into three parts: an engaging starter ( or food for thought), followed by the main activity which is guided (depending on students ability) followed by a plenary where students will reflect on how they've done and how to get better. We work with every lesson setting targets on how to get better and focus on these as we hone new skills.
