About Calvin
My passion for Excel began with recognizing the power of spreadsheets to organize, analyze, and visualize complex data efficiently. This led me to pursue a B.Sc in Information Systems and an M.Sc in Data Analytics, where I gained expertise in data management, analysis, and visualization tools. Over the past 10 years, I have guided learners in mastering Excel from basic functions to advanced dashboards, ensuring they gain both skill and confidence.
I focus on a teaching methodology that blends structured explanation, hands-on exercises, and real-world examples. Lessons emphasize understanding formulas, logic, and data interpretation rather than rote memorization. I encourage learners to explore independently, experiment with different functions, and apply skills creatively to solve practical challenges.
Outside the classroom, I stay engaged with new Excel features, analytics tools, and business applications, ensuring lessons remain relevant and practical. Witnessing students transform from tentative users into confident analysts who can interpret and present data effectively is deeply rewarding.
