About Ben

Fifteen years' experience working as an Excel developer and trainer for a wide variety of organisations including investment banks, software houses, government, accounting firms, media companies, small businesses and charities.

In-depth knowledge of all aspects of Excel including formulae, functions, pivot tables, charts, data import/export, data validation, conditional formatting, dashboards and VBA coding.

Ten years' experience as a private Excel tutor. BSc Hons in Engineering

About the lesson

I usually provide project-focused tutoring, helping you develop the Excel skills you need to create, fix or improve a spreadsheet or workbook for a particular project or purpose. For example budgeting, accounting, sales forecasting, payroll, financial modelling, project management, data analysis etc. In my experience this is the best way to learn Excel.

I can also provide broad-based tutoring in all the key features and functions of Excel.

Patient, clear and friendly tutoring. Everything is broken down into simple steps, which makes learning easy. We go at your pace, moving on only when you are happy with each new skill.

I also provide a complete spreadsheet design or fix service. If you need a job doing in a rush or you don't have time to learn how to do this yourself, I am happy to do it for you.

Details

My rate for online lessons is £35 per hour and for in-person lessons £45 per hour. The in-person rate covers all my travel costs. I am happy to travel to you up to 1 hour journey time from Balham. Minimum length of lesson for online lessons is 1 hour and for in-person lessons 2 hours.
