About Sarah

I am passionate about the natural world and believe that if we are to have a bright future, we need to instil this passion in the younger generations. It is only with love and understanding, that we can hope to overcome the challenges which will face our children. I have the travel bug, and have lived in the States, Kenya, Thailand and Singapore and have travelled extensively across their continents. I have a master's in wildlife conservation and disease and have worked with some fascinating exotic species over the years, volunteering in various rehabilitation centres and national parks. I try to bring as many of my experiences into my lessons as I can where appropriate. Check out my C.V. (concealed information)

About the lesson

Typical lessons are an hour, with the first session finding out about you and what your needs are, to enable us to tailor a course together to get you where you need to be. I believe in catering to all learning styles in my lessons and finding out about yours is the best way to move forward. I am a fun, bubbly and enthusiastic teacher with a deep passion for the natural world. I have taught KS2, 3, 4 and 5 Biology for nearly 20 years in Private and International Schools. Over the years I have taught IB Diploma Biology, A-Level Biology, Applied Science, IGCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics (I would prefer to stick to IG Biology), GCSEs, IBMYP Science, Science for Common Entrance and Scholarships.
