About Thea
I am an ESL tutor with 5 years of experience teaching High School and College students. I have taught 150–200 students, helping them improve their English skills and achieve academic success.
Teaching is my passion because I love seeing students grow. I focus on grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, and speaking, creating lessons that are clear, interactive, and engaging. I encourage students to ask questions, practise regularly, and build confidence.
One proud milestone in my career has been helping students improve their fluency and communication skills. Many have achieved better grades and excelled in classroom discussions and presentations.
I adapt lessons to each student’s pace and learning style. My mission is to inspire students to enjoy learning English and reach their full potential.

My ESL teaching methodology is structured, adaptive, and student-focused. I use real-life examples and case studies to connect classroom learning to real-world communication, including office discussions, academic tasks, travel, and social situations.
Students practise all four language skills—speaking, listening, reading, and writing—through interactive exercises. Motivation is key; I encourage students with positive reinforcement, goal-setting, and progress tracking.
When challenges arise, I apply problem-solving strategies to simplify complex grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation issues. Integrity guides my teaching practice, and I maintain honesty, professionalism, and constructive feedback in every session.
Flexibility allows me to customise lessons according to each student’s pace and learning style. In addition to ESL, I teach spoken English, business communication, academic writing, and grammar improvement.
