About Mira
I am a Spanish tutor who loves the language and the incredibly friendly cultures behind it. Learning a new language is a big step, and I am here to hold your hand through the whole process. My lessons are full of energy and designed to keep you having fun, even when we look at hard grammar.
I am great at helping students who feel stuck get over the hump and start talking smoothly. I have helped lots of learners pass their exams and feel genuinely proud of their speaking skills. We will work as a team to figure out exactly what you find hard and fix it together.
My biggest hope is to open up a whole new world of communication for you. I feel so proud when I watch my students start a real conversation in a brand new language without hesitating. Let's start this fun adventure together.

My way of teaching Spanish is focused entirely on getting you chatting, rather than just staring at a textbook. I will teach you the basic building blocks of the language so you can start making your own sentences from scratch. I think the absolute best way to learn is by listening, so our lessons will be full of real-life conversations.
We will spend time making sure you pronounce words correctly so you sound totally natural. I will teach you the most useful words for everyday life, like how to buy things, ask for directions, or introduce yourself. We will pretend we are in different real-world situations to help you practise speaking without fear.
I love helping students who feel completely lost when native speakers talk really fast. I will give you easy clues to help you pick out the main words so you can follow along with the chat. We will also talk about the food and traditions of Spanish-speaking countries to make learning much more exciting.
