About Paola
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Modern Languages (Major English and Spanish) and training in pedagogy, excellent management, didactics, and English and Spanish teaching methodology. Experience with different ages and groups of students, young people, adults, and children, with foreign immersion and permanent contact with native speakers of both languages. Currently, I live in Canada, and I dedicate myself to work freelance as a tutor.

• I go by the philosophy that a teacher needs to know and understand the learner as much as possible. Students are different and learn differently. They also have different needs, abilities, competencies, goals, and expectations. In my case, I teach English and Spanish both as foreign languages; therefore, I consider this when my students are learning a new language. Adult learners, for example, will have an immediate need for the language, whereas the opposite may be for young learners who do not understand the global perspective. I strive to lower my student's fears and prepare engaging lessons that will keep them happy and motivated to continue their learning process.
