About Pamela
Greetings! I am an ESL and Writing professor with more than 20 years experience in the United States and South Korea. I hold a Master of Arts in English and TESL certificate.
I have worked as an ESL instructor for classes and individuals, a composition instructor for native and non-native English speaking students, and worked extensively one-on-one as a speaking and writing tutor. In addition, I have worked as a teacher-trainer for Korean public school teachers.
Student needs and goals are the primary focus of my practice, and I strive to create a stimulating and safe learning environment that encourages engagement and linguistic risk-taking. To that end, I incorporate realia, technology, and personal interests into lessons as much as possible.
I strive for excellence and professionalism in my work, and treat each new day as an opportunity to learn and grow.
