About Candace
I have taught in the Palm Beach County School District for about 30 years. As an ESE teacher, I have worked with all disabilities and with students in regular education. I worked remotely with students for one and a half years during the pandemic. I have privately tutored all levels of students for over 20 years.

I pride myself on building a working rapport with my struggling students. I understand learning deficits and know the importance of students gaining confidence in order to move forward. After pinpointing deficiencies, I structure my lessons to meet individual needs. I have been trained in Wilson, Fountas and Pinnell, Explode the Code, to name a few. Students need to begin lessons with material they are successful with in order to progress to mastery. I specialize in grades K thru 3.
