About Nahomi

I’ve always had an interest for biology.
I was the one my classmates would come to for help with last-minute studying before the exams and they always got good results. I’ve gotten a lot of positive feedback for my tutoring therefor I’m confident I can help you understand even the most complex concepts. I’m also multilingual so I can offer help in English, Spanish or Dutch. My goal is to help you feel confident in you studying and being a student myself I understand the struggle. Even if biology is not your favorite subject, I’m here to help you find a way to make studying and learning more fun.

About the lesson

With my teaching I like to focus on students understanding the concepts rather than just memorizing them short-term. A way I like to do that is incorporating real life examples and situations that are more familiar to the student, and that way show them that biology is all around us. In every class students will get a set of flashcards they can use to continue studying on their own. I will do my best to keep the classes as fun and interesting as possible. The lessons are for any students taking biology in middle school or high school.

I know Nahomi now for about three years and when we was in middle school together she was always on point with Biology. Nahomi is a very kind, smart individual that has a nice sense of humor and a good work ethic. Nahomi always had a natural liking for Biology and in my opinion that speaks volume in what kind of tutor she is. Don’t forget the amount of patience that she has and I mean she has a lot of patience, trust me. I still remember when I used to reach school without knowing anything about Biology for our exam and right before Nahomi would take her time and explain me the basic of the paragraphs. Nahomi is very polite, trustworthy and is very smart! Nahomi was my classmate in middle school and highschool and we always studied together before we had biology tests and exams. I wouldn't have passed my highschool biology exams if it wasn't for Nahomi. She has a passion for biology and is very patient when she tutors the subject.
