About Renjie

Recently graduated from Imperial College London with PhD in Physics degree. With over 500 hours of tutoring and teaching experience, I have taught students from primary school to universities on subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Math, Computer Science, writing skills and so on. Over time I have developed a systematic teaching strategy for students of different levels, and I enjoy sharing my knowledge and understanding of science and math to others so that students can see the beauty of nature and the power of science and technology.

Besides teaching, I am also writing exam questions for entry assessments. I am a Sunday school teacher at Elim Chinese Church. So, I am comfortable teaching students of any age. I was born in Mainland China and I have lived in the UK for 10 years, I can speak both English and Mandarin.

About the lesson

My teaching method varies on the levels of study and the students themselves. For GCSE and A-level students, I usually prepare a series of tutorials divided into topics and revision lessons and I hand out problem sheets for all sessions. For students who are close to taking exams, I focus on practices and weak spots. For university students, I like to work through assignments with students to help them understand the subjects and give advice for scientific writing.
