About Laura

For the last five years, I have been living and studying between Spain, Italy and the UK. During my master’s scholarship in Italy, I started tutoring Spanish as a second language to Italian native speakers. Since that until now I have been teaching Spanish as a second language to schoolchildren and adults. Having recently got my Qualified Teacher Status, I have a very strong interest in pursuing a teaching career in the UK. During my teaching placement at the British School of Seville last year, I had the opportunity to teach Spanish and History to KS3 and KS4, which has allowed me to know firsthand the National Curriculum. Additionally, I have extensive tutoring experience to schoolchildren studying GCSE, ICGSE and A Level, so I have a very good comprehension of those Spanish examinations.

About the lesson

I offer Spanish lessons in London on a one-to-one basis or in small groups to both private individuals and companies. Most of my students are schoolchildren studying primary level, GCSE and A Level Spanish, so I have extensive tutoring experience in those examinations. Teaching Approach: I have a very flexible approach to tutoring, as each student is different both in requirements and style of learning. Consequently, I try to tailor my lessons to the individual, adapting to their pace of working and concentrating on the aspects of language that interest them most, for example conversation or grammar, whilst ensuring lessons are suitably varied.
