About Rebecca

I am a modern languages graduate with experience living and working in France, Spain and Italy. I am a qualified teacher of English as a foreign language (level 5 TEFL) and have experience teaching both in a classroom setting and privately in Spain as well as online on other tutor websites. I have professional experience living in the countries in which I have learned the languages and feel confident in my ability to deliver fun lessons tailored to the students needs.

About the lesson

I love making fun lessons by incorporating French, Spanish and Italian culture as I believe learning a language is not only about the language itself but learning about the people and the place! I would love to help my students by tailoring the lessons to their interests, whether that be film, music, history or language.

If a student requires specific grammar help, I will focus on explaining difficult grammar points and working through exercises to improve this aspect. For students preparing for an exam, we can practise exam style questions and work on improving both the students knowledge of the language and their confidence using it. However, I will ensure students work on all 4 language skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking as all skills are interlinked and key to becoming fluent in a language.
