About Sim

Embark on an Educational Adventure with Me!

Ahoy, young scholars! Gather 'round, for I am no ordinary teacher—I am a captain of curiosity, a navigator of knowledge, and a merry minstrel of learning!

Interactive Expeditions:

Picture this: Our classroom transforms into a magical ship, sails billowing with the winds of wonder. We embark on quests where history dances, math equations pirouette, and language blooms like exotic flowers. ️
Ever tried solving a maths problem while balancing a spoon on your nose? Fear not, intrepid learners! We’ll make learning a game, where every answer unlocks a treasure chest of giggles.

Memorable Moments:

Imagine our desks sprouting wings, whisking us away to ancient Egypt or the heart of a volcano. We’ll dive into textbooks like explorers, unearthing secrets and leaving footprints in the sands of time.
And when the bell tolls for our brain break, we’ll don our invisible capes and zoom through mental obstacle courses. Quick, dodge the algebraic asteroids! Leap over the grammar chasms!
Passion Unleashed:

My heart beats in sync with the rhythm of shutter clicks. Yes, I’m a photography enthusiast! The world is my canvas, and every student’s smile is a masterpiece framed in sunlight.
Books are my loyal companions. I devour them like a famished dragon guarding a library. From whimsical tales to mind-bending mysteries, we’ll explore realms beyond imagination.
Qualities That Sparkle:

Empathy is my secret superpower. When a student’s pencil falters, I see the unspoken question in their eyes. Together, we’ll decode the mysteries of quadratic equations and the human heart.
My spirit? As happy-go-lucky as a squirrel on a trampoline! ️ Life’s too short for frowns; let’s sprinkle laughter like confetti.
Curiosity? Oh, it’s my compass! I chase questions like fireflies, knowing they lead to hidden galaxies of understanding.
Hard work? It’s my wand, conjuring spells of progress. We’ll polish our brains until they gleam like freshly minted coins.
And when the clock whispers bedtime stories, I become playful—a mischievous sprite who sprinkles dreams over sleepy eyelids.
So, dear adventurers, buckle your seatbelts (or imaginary seatbelts, if you prefer) and let’s set sail! Our ship—the S.S. Curious Minds—awaits. Destination: Infinite Learning!

As an experienced educator with a decade of teaching under my belt, I am committed to tailoring my lessons to meet the unique needs of each student. Here’s what you can expect from my teaching approach:

Lesson Structure:
- Each lesson is thoughtfully designed to last approximately 45 minutes. This duration strikes a balance between depth of content and maintaining student engagement.
- We kick off with a brief well-being check at the beginning. Ensuring students feel emotionally supported sets a positive tone for learning.
- Midway through, we take a brain break. These short pauses not only recharge the mind but also enhance knowledge retention.

Diverse Teaching Background:
- My teaching journey spans across various contexts: from the UK to international settings, and from public schools to private institutions.
- I’ve had the privilege of tutoring both privately and in group settings, working with as few as 10 and as many as 40 children.

Areas of Specialisation:
- I specialise in KS2 (Key Stage 2) education, covering subjects such as Mathematics, English, and Reading.
- Additionally, I am well-versed in preparing students for SATs and the 11 plus exams.

Let’s embark on this learning journey together, where every student’s growth and success are at the heart of our mission!
