About Siobhan
Fully qualified with BA Honours in EYFS and Primary teaching and 19 years experience teaching in a London Primary Schools. I specialise in Phonics, Early Reading/Writing skills and Early Maths. My experience means I have taught using different phonics strategies and maths programmes. I am therefore able to adapt every lesson to a child’s individual needs. I have experience with gifted and talented children and SEN children. I always make sure that every child achieves their full potential.

I always start by getting to know a child’s needs with fun assessment activities so I can tailor my future lessons to obtain specific outcomes. By doing this and collaborating with parents I ensure each child achieves as much as they can from my lessons.
My lessons will start with a fun “hook” to learning. I use a number of engaging activities including songs, visual aids and games to keep children focused and motivated to learn. I can incorporate subjects together to create a continuous meaningful education for your children.
At the end of each session I will provide optional independent activities that are easy for parents to incorporate in daily life in between lessons to consolidate the knowledge they gain in my lessons.
