About Alice
I began my career in schools working as a teaching assistant to a year 6 class in inner city Bradford. This gave me some great insight into engaging younger students which I used to grow my KS3 teaching style. I have taught KS3 students in both Bingley Grammar School and Skipton Girls High School and also run a science club for year 7 and 8 students.
I have taught from both the AQA and OCR syllabus and have a detailed knowledge of previous exam questions and mark schemes.
I have taught all KS3 and GCSE curriculum in detail, marked regular class tests using past exam questions and marked mock exam papers in detail.

I approach KS3 science teaching in a fun and engaging manner and use a variety of different resources that support students in building on their current level of knowledge.
I have taught GCSE Biology for 2 and a half years and A Level for a year and a half. I am used to working with students with a range of abilities and goals and I have become skilled in tailoring my teaching to an individual students needs.
With GCSE and A Level students I regularly use visual aids such as diagrams to support more complex concepts and find that building a visual aid throughout a lesson helps students both with initial understanding and for future revision.
