Self-Introduction
Good day everyone.
My name is saramaria santos. I am a medical student with a strong interest in learning and improving my clinical knowledge and skills. I am passionate about patient care and enjoy studying subjects such as anatomy, physiology, and internal medicine.
I believe in hard work, continuous learning, and treating everyone with kindness and respect. In my free time, I enjoy reading, learning new things, and improving myself both personally and professionally.
My goal is to become a skilled, compassionate, and responsible doctor who can make a positive difference in people's lives.

Right atrium
Right ventricle
Left atrium
Left ventricle
Blood flow:
Oxygen-poor blood from the body enters the right atrium.
It moves to the right ventricle.
The right ventricle pumps it to the lungs, where it picks up oxygen.
Oxygen-rich blood returns to the left atrium.
It passes into the left ventricle.
The left ventricle pumps oxygen-rich blood to the rest of the body through the aorta.
Fun facts:
An average adult heart beats 60–100 times per minute at rest.
It pumps about 5 liters of blood every minute.
In a lifetime, the heart beats more than 2.5 billion times.
This is one of the most important concepts in biology and medicine because every organ depends on the heart to receive oxygen and nutrients
