About Yasmin

I am an English Literature graduate with A Levels in Maths, Art and English. I am a singer and an artist and view teaching as a collaborative and rewarding process. I had some obstacles applying from a state school so I'm also open to talking to prospective students and providing enlightening insights into Cambridge's process of selection and teaching styles. I am friendly and approachable and look forward to hearing from you.

About the lesson

I am a flexible and creative tutor who focuses on engaging students and inspiring them towards a love of learning. I teach both GCSE and A Level Students as well as primary school students. I believe that education should be exciting and inclusive to all. My creative writing lessons often include visual and written prompts on power-points. I inform my students about classical literature so that they can informedly think outside the box in their work. I also prepare students for literature exams, by teaching them technical terms, thereby well equipping students to improve their exam grades.
