About Dawn
I am an enthusiastic, creative person. I am a native English speaker, I live in South Africa, and I teach in English. For the last eight years, I have taught English to adults and children online. Every person has a different learning style, and when students are exposed to lessons with activities and materials that build upon their skills, they progress in their development as individuals. I delight in seeing my students grow in ability and confidence, and I encourage full participation in every lesson. Because -Teaching is my passion. I can help develop their academic learning skills!!

Languages in which the lesson is available :

Young learners need step-by-step instruction in a scaffolded manner, while teaching teenagers means taking a step back and allowing them to figure things out on their own.
6-year-olds: Lessons should be short, active, and fun as their attention span is short. They are more spontaneous and consequently, the teacher should take more control of most of the lesson.
12-year-olds: Lessons can expand into the abstract; they still rely on active learning.
16-year-olds: Lessons can be longer in duration and can be more focused on learning tasks. They are more typically able to work things out for themselves and should be given more leeway throughout the lesson.
*I have taught all three age groups in varying degrees.
