About Edson
I am 50 years old and I live in Barra da Tijuca. I graduated from Cultura Inglesa and lived for 13 years in New York (1995-2008). I have been tutoring English for 10 years, since returning to Rio de Janeiro. Classes can be in the student's residence, at work or via skype.

I plan all my classes according to the needs and goals of each student. Some students want a full understanding of grammar while others want to focus on conversation. And some just want to practice so they do not lose their fluency. In my classes my student will learn not only to master English but he will also learn to translate from one language to another. Portuguese and English should not be separated by a wall in our mind, but by a door, where we go from one to the other freely.
