About Freya
I am a passionate teacher with a love for the English language which I hope to pass on to my students. I do believe that languages are what makes the world go round successfully, in every aspect and matter. I truly enjoy meeting people from all backgrounds and countries and cultures too - this is one of the reasons why I have always loved this job.

I tend to look at a holistic approach in my teaching. My aim is to integrate the four main skills: reading, speaking, listening, and writing together with a mix of grammar and vocabulary. Lessons are also done through a 'thematic' approach where I look at news articles and other authentic material; these are used as a source of information throughout and help the student feel at ease and reassured that they are truly learning the language in a genuine way.
My lessons are normally 45 minutes to 1 hour long. I have 8 years and more of experience, teaching students of all ages and levels. I have gotten used to adapting and seeing to every individual's students needs. This, I believe, is essential if one wants to learn the language wholeheartedly.
I am a fully-qualified teacher with several certifications and courses done :
1.B.A. in English with Honors
2. Master's Degree in English Language and Literature
3. CELTA certificate (internationally accepted and renowned)
4. PGCE in English Teaching
5. TEFL certificate
