About Leslie

I have been teaching for many years but I officially began teaching online in 2018. I completed a TESOL course in 2015 and then went on to get my Bachelor's degree in Education. I believe that interactive lessons are the best way our brains retain information. I know what it's like to learn a second language and I use that empathy to help build confidence in my students.

About the lesson

I enjoy teaching English to students of all levels. My goal is to build confidence in my students ability to communicate well with anyone they come across.
My lesson plans often include conversation, exercises, videos and more. I try to vary the methods and make the lessons fun. I also cater the lesson to the needs of each student.

I am an Engineer that works in the US, and needed to improve my accent and conversational English skills. I've worked with many different teachers in the past but did not see an improvement. Leslie helped me with my accent and friends and coworkers noticed the difference in just a few weeks. I highly recommend her for business professionals. She is fun to work with, but also firm and makes sure you are progressing.
