About Claire
I am an English Teacher and Head of Year, so I'm interested in nurturing pastoral development as well as the academic. My degree was in English Literature. I absolutely love reading and writing and want my students to love it too!

I have experience teaching a wide range of ages and abilities, from Gifted and Talented children to students predicted 4s and below, as well as students with SEN and EAL. I have taught big classes of 30+ students but also have experience tutoring in small groups and on a 1:1 basis. I believe that every child is different so tailor my lessons to them specifically. My lessons are engaging and interactive and hopefully my love of Linguistics and Literature is clear!
