About Joyce
I studied education in the university and became a one-to-one tutor for many years for children, Japanese and Koreans both Online and Offline. I have not done that same style for a while and was more focused on helping newly hired employees get trained for their communication skills for customer service jobs.
I am a friendly, patient, and dedicated English tutor who enjoys helping students build confidence in their English skills. I create relaxed and engaging lessons where students feel comfortable speaking, asking questions, and learning from their mistakes.
I tailor each lesson to the student's level and goals, whether they want to improve their conversation skills, grammar, pronunciation, or everyday English. My goal is to make learning English practical, enjoyable, and useful.

Teaching Method and Techniques
I use a student-centered approach focused on practical English and conversation. I adapt my lessons to each student's level, goals, and learning style. I use conversation, vocabulary, grammar, reading, and real-life situations to keep lessons engaging.
Pre Evaluation first to check the level of the student, then make necessary adjustments along the way
Typical Lesson Plan
I start with a short conversation and review, then introduce the main topic and useful vocabulary or grammar. Students practice through questions and activities, followed by a real-life conversation. I end with a quick review and practice goal.
What Sets Me Apart
I am enthusiastic, patient, encouraging, and focused on building confidence. I want students to feel comfortable making mistakes while learning. I also tailor lessons to what each student actually needs.
Who My Lessons Are For
I can work with beginner to advanced English learners, with lessons adapted for their age, level, and goals. This can include conversational English, academic English, interview preparation, travel, and everyday communication. I need them to see the beauty of learning a language without worrying about accents first and just enjoying the process.
