About Jackie
I am an English high-school student from Hong Kong who has been giving lessons to children and GCSE level students who are learning the language from scratch. I have received the highest grades (A*s) for both my GCSE and AS Level exams and am working towards my final A2 exam this summer. I would benefit from tutoring those who have gone through the same experience of basic Chinese as I have and I would whole-heartedly transfer my skills to my students.

As I am still a student in high school, I would be able to sympathise and work well with students from a similar age range. I am extremely patient and find joy in teaching students my native language because I am passionate about my studies in Chinese as well as my background. I believe that regular practice and repetition to build up memory is essential to learning, and I would make sure to implement accurate writing techniques, my own efficient methods of memorising vocabulary and help with pronunciation for both Mandarin and Cantonese (which is very important for Oral exams).
