About Alexandra
I am an English specialist with a wealth of teaching experience across abilities having taught in top independent schools the length of my career. I graduated from Cambridge with a 2.1 in English Literature and hold an MA in Modern and Contemporary Literature. I am currently in the middle of my PhD. My love of both literature and teaching is longstanding and deep-rooted and I am heavily invested in the results of my students.

My expertise spans GCSE English Literature and Language, A-Level English Literature, Pre-U English, the IB and Oxbridge entrance preparation including personal statements and interview coaching. I provide comprehensive support for both exam preparation and coursework. I combine rigorous academic preparation with a supportive approach that ensures the very best outcomes for my tutees.
