About Frances
I hold a Master of Education degree in English as a Foreign Language and have got 15 years experience tutoring and teaching. I have worked with groups of pre- and primary school children, middle- and high schoolers in the German school system, as well as at university level.

I find out how my students learn (visually, through listening, writing,...) and which areas they want/need to work on. I use different media, youtube channels, vlogs, newspapers, prose, etc to present the student with authentic texts tailored to their interests. I encourage them to use the language actively and lose the fear of making mistakes in favour of effective communication, while still minding correct grammar and expanding vocabulary, to guarantee that both active and passive language skills improve.
