About Kymanie
Hello! I'm Kymanie, a junior in high-school. I got to Warren Central Highschool in Indiana. My goal here on super-prof is to gain mentor experience in a brand new setting while helping others learn their way around certain English devices. I intend to do the best I can for students willing to learn and grow as much as I have.

My approach
In teaching my students, I require and give respect and patience, since we are both trying something new. As a tutor, I will not approach the student(s) as a teacher, but as a fellow learner in a new setting, and I will build a relationship with said student(s) in a way I can understand their needs, skill levels and what they have improved upon since meeting me. I believe grace, fun-work balance, relationship-building and trust all contribute to a successful learning environment.
A typical day
For (e.x), one day, I may present to the students a text they may not understand. We will discuss initial concerns and how we can address that moving forward, and begin the annotations and analysis of said text. With that out of the way and some initial questions and important points, we will begin with an actual set of questions concerning the text. From there we will build upon that foundational analysis.
What sets me apart?
My own novel is in progress. I have received praise from all my English teachers for my ability to write creatively, including several recommendation letters. My resume speaks of my professionalism and my skills.
