About Josh

Welcome! My name is Josh, and I am dedicated to helping students achieve their full potential in A-Level History . With three years of tutoring experience and a 100% pass rate, I bring both expertise and a passion for teaching to every session.

My approach to tutoring is designed to inspire confidence and foster a supportive learning environment. I understand the importance of connecting with students on an individual level, ensuring that each lesson is tailored to their unique interests and learning styles. As a current Master's student in English Literature, I combine academic excellence with a genuine enthusiasm for these subjects.

I am committed to providing students with the space, tools, and confidence to express and develop their own ideas and opinions. Dialogue is a central part of my tutoring, allowing students to engage actively with the material and enhance their critical thinking skills. By encouraging open discussions, I help students build the confidence they need to articulate their thoughts clearly and effectively.

About the lesson

With three years of dedicated tutoring experience and a 100% pass rate, I specialise in helping students over that C-grade boundary and transforming C-grade students into B and A-grade achievers. Currently pursuing a Master's in English Literature, I bring both academic excellence and a passion for teaching to every session.

Teaching Approach:
My teaching philosophy centres around connecting with each student's broader interests to make learning more engaging and effective. I present subjects as compelling narratives and find this particularly helpful in keeping students interested in topics. This method helps students grasp complex concepts and retain information better.

Storytelling Method: Teaching subjects through narratives to make lessons more engaging and memorable.
