About Muskan

I hold a Master's degree in English Literature, giving me a strong academic foundation and thorough command of the language. I approach every session with patience, structure, and genuine care for each student's progress, ensuring a professional and dependable learning experience from start to finish. My goal is not just to teach concepts, but to help students trust their own abilities — building the confidence to read critically, write clearly, and express their ideas without hesitation. About the lesson

My teaching method centers on breaking down complex texts and concepts into manageable pieces, rather than overwhelming students with everything at once. I check in with questions throughout a lesson instead of waiting until the end, so understanding builds steadily. For younger or more reluctant readers, I make sessions interactive — working together to spot errors in a sample text or debate a text's argument — rather than relying on passive explanation alone.
A typical lesson starts with a quick review of previous concepts, moves into the day's main topic broken into smaller chunks with regular check-ins, and ends with a short practice exercise or discussion to reinforce what was covered. For writing-focused sessions, I often review a student's recent work, identify one or two priority areas to improve, and guide them through revising it themselves.
What sets me apart is my focus on patterns, not just one-off corrections. I track recurring issues in a student's writing over time to see whether specific habits are actually improving, rather than just fixing surface mistakes as they appear. I give targeted feedback on one or two priority areas per piece rather than correcting everything at once, since that helps students actually absorb and apply the feedback.
My lessons focus on building strong reading, writing, and literary analysis skills, tailored to each student's pace and goals — whether that's exam preparation, grammar fundamentals, or developing confidence as a reader and writer.
