About Omair
I have had a long journey until I arrived at literature and academics. My previous training was in physical therapy and rehabilitation. Although I was always fascinated by the world of literature and wrote poetry. The shift was made and it's been a cherished time learning about either how to read and write anew (as either an academic or a poet) or immersion into questions on different kinds of philosophies, questions we confront in our daily lives.

my focus remains on making a class conducive for thoughts to come to the fore so that the learning is more participatory. Through such exchange, it's possible to give space for raw and original thinking. And since I teach college level students, mostly, who have freshly joined at undergrad level, effort is make them think with rigor but also not to exhaust them.
