About Jessica

I am a teaching student at ECU in my third year. I have been extensively researching literacy programs throughout my course, and have been gaining experience with children working in a play centre, and in my university practicum placements, in several primary schools. I was a high achiever in English during primary and high school and have a great understanding of the curriculum requirements for English as a subject.

I also have a passion for sport, coaching and fitness. I am able to coach people of all ages to reach their fitness/sport goals and use my experience with Biomechanics, Anatomy, Yoga, Hockey, Soccer, Baseball, Cheerleading, Gymnastics, Swimming, Running, Tennis, Cricket, Rock climbing, Kayaking and many other activities. I use this experience and personally conducted research to plan lessons that will assist students in achieving their goals and enjoying themselves in the process.

About the lesson

My lessons aim to be fun and engaging while also targeting specific learning aims. I use a lot of hands on learning to assist retention of information and lessons are very student-directed. I consider myself a caring, motivating person that offers positive reinforcement to assist you in meeting your learning goals.

Perfect! Jessica has a good speaking and teaching style which keeps my son interested and he enjoys every class. Lots of fun exercise which make it easier to understand. She has an excellent and very effective way to provide feedback . My son is absolutely loving the classes .
