About Mathilde
Good morning ! Bilingual since I was 13, I graduated from Cambridge University (Advanced Certificate in English), where I got my advanced certificate in English (level C1, both in speaking and in writing).
As an educator at a Montessori school, I work daily in English with children aged 3 to 6, in order to teach them and help them discover the language. I also did many hours of tutoring when I was younger, in France but also in Mexico and New Zealand. I have worked with children up to the age of 12 as well as with adolescents, most of them with learning difficulties or learning delays.
Here's some information about me so can get to know me a bit bettee:
- I went abroad for 2 years, to New Zealand then to Australia.
- In addition to being an educator, I am also an artist, on the verge of becoming a self-entrepreneur.
- I love animals. As well as baking cakes, go hiking, gardening etc.
- I am very sensitive to nature, ecology, healthy food, herbal medicines, etc.
- One of my passion is traveling.
Of a smiling, patient and dynamic nature, I will help your child learn the English language with patience and kindness, all in a methodical and fun way.

In a few words, here's what I can offer:
- introduction to English through activities
- tutoring lessons
- hours of conversation in English
My way of working is concrete, with a very visual approach via various activities / games, according to the interests of the child in front of me. I always work on a case-by-case basis, adapting my method according to the person or the child in front of me.
For adolescents and adults, my approach is roughly the same, but with a more abstract and complex use of the language (except in the case of a beginner).
I am also very well informed on the following subjects, though I did not follow a course on them:
- Positive communication
- Children with high potential (I am one myself)
- ASD / ADHD
