About Sena Tuğçe
Hello! I’m Tuğçe, a full-time instructor in the English preparatory department at a private university. I have been teaching English for ESL students for over 6 years at Universities, I have also taught Academic Reading and Writing in the psychology department. I’ve also been a speaker at conferences held by Hacettepe, Ardahan, and Yeditepe Universities and got published with my poetry book in English and my translation of Freud’s work.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature from Istanbul University and a Master’s degree from Yeditepe University. Over the years, I have taught in both private universities and individual settings. My students are my pride, and teaching brings me immense joy. I believe that learning English is not just about mastering a language—it’s about opening doors to new opportunities and exploring different cultures and getting to know more about who you really are.
As someone with ADHD, I’ve seen firsthand how working with our unique qualities, rather than against them, makes the learning process more valuable, fun, and lasting. I’m excited to help you build confidence and success through a personalized, engaging approach to learning English. I look forward to working with you!

I offer lessons tailored to all levels and abilities. Together with my students, we develop a personalized method that suits them and adjust it as needed. I don't believe in providing a technique as if there were a magic pill for learning. Instead, I focus on the human element, supporting learning through practice, connection with things we enjoy, and developing all skills (speaking, reading, writing, listening). In addition to teaching English, I also offer lessons in English Literature, which I hold both a bachelor's and a master's degree in, and can assist you with your classes. I can help with essay writing, work-related tasks, or any challenging assignments. I've been doing this for years, I also provide my students with the necessary materials.
