About Gillian
My passion for English began through reading, public speaking activities, and communication studies during my academic journey. I completed a Bachelor’s Degree in English Studies before earning a PhD in Applied English Linguistics. During the last 9 years, I have helped students strengthen communication skills through supportive teaching and practical language methods.
I enjoy adapting lessons according to learning pace, personality, and communication goals. Some students improve faster through speaking and listening practice, while others benefit more from grammar explanation and writing activities. My teaching style combines patience, positivity, and balanced language development.
Outside teaching, I enjoy creative writing, studying communication trends, and exploring modern literature. Staying connected to language learning helps me bring fresh ideas into lessons. Teaching English is rewarding because I enjoy helping students express themselves clearly and confidently.

My English lessons are designed to help students communicate naturally through practical conversation and structured language development. I teach pronunciation, grammar structure, vocabulary growth, listening comprehension, sentence building, and conversational English through engaging exercises that make learning smooth and approachable. Lessons are warm, interactive, and focused on steady improvement.
Beginners improve through guided dialogues, pronunciation activities, and repetition exercises that gradually strengthen communication confidence. Intermediate learners develop stronger grammar accuracy, smoother speaking flow, and better listening skills through discussions and roleplay exercises. Advanced students focus on fluent expression, natural communication, and confident speaking in real-life situations.
I encourage students to use English regularly without becoming afraid of mistakes. Lessons support consistency, confidence, and practical communication while helping learners improve comfortably. My goal is to help students become expressive, relaxed, and confident English speakers.
