About Eponine

Hi ! My name is Eponine, I am 22 years old. I graduated in English and French literature, and I have been doing tutoring for a few years now, with students from primary school to high school. In 2019/2020, I moved to the United States to be a Language Associate in an American college.

If I offer a course on the TOEFL test, it's because I know how well it can cause anguish, when you aim for a specific score to enter English-speaking colleges and universities. The first time I took it, I did a test preparation course because I felt lost in all the modalities of the exam. Today, I am offering you courses to give you the keys to this test, which is by no means insurmountable!
Do not hesitate to contact me for some lessons, which will allow you to obtain the highest possible score thanks to your perfect knowledge of the test.

About the lesson

This course is for those looking to take the TOEFL test with confidence.

Here are some examples of what you will learn to be more comfortable on the day of the test:
- READING: how to save time by organizing your reading efficiently; how to overcome questions that make you hesitate.
- LISTENING: what to mark down on your draft during oral comprehensions.
- SPEAKING: prepare a draft in less than a minute; how to organize your speech to gain as many points as possible.
- WRITING: how to write an effective essay that yields a perfect score; how to articulate the ideas of two documents in one essay.

If you need it, I can clarify the academic American vocabulary for you. I studied and worked for a year at an American university.

We will work on typical examples. If you've purchased a prep book, we will use it; I also have access to a preparation book if needed.

Please note: this course does not have as its primary intent to improve your level in English. I can help you on certain points if you have grammar or vocabulary questions, etc., but my course aims at getting you used to the test. I will help you earn points based on your knowledge of the specifics of the TOEFL test.
