About Berna

I graduated from Hacettepe University, Department of French Language and Literature in 2000. I worked in primary and secondary schools and as a French and English teacher. After completing my master's degree in Education Management at Okan University in 2012, I started my doctorate education in Kocaeli University Educational Management in 2017. I am still qualifying at the same university. Being aware of the fact that being a student and learning a language is a difficult and patient process, I should state that learning a language today is a guarantee that it will be an important step in your career and that you will gain a global identity. I am a candidate to be a fun, enjoyable companion on this road.

About the lesson

Depending on the student's request, a face-to-face or distance learning environment can be provided online, at the teacher's home or at the student's home, provided it is located on the Anatolian side. My priority is the student group who are studying in primary and secondary school french colleges and want to get support in learning french. Courses are student-centered according to the student's readiness and are prepared according to the needs of the student. Each course is given under 4 headings, including compréhension de l'oral, compréhension des écrits, production écrite et production orale, along with basic grammar. Written and oral evaluation is made at the end of each unit. Feedback is received from the student. As a teaching technique, the subject is explained according to the level with the presentation technique first, the written exercises are given to the student, the observed deficiencies are completed, the student is heard and corrected by the oral exercises. Student's motivation is increased at the beginning and end of the lesson.
