About Shyenne
Hi, I’m Shyenne! (pronounced shy-anne)
I have loved learning languages since I was young. Growing up, I spoke English, Cantonese, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia. During high school, I also picked up other languages like Thai and Korean for fun.
Experience-wise, I have mentored junior students in English during high school.
The reason why I think I stand out is I have been told I have an affinity with young children. Having worked in early childhood education for a brief part of my uni-life, I learnt how to speak and effectively interact with them. My goal as an English tutor is to help them make English their superpower and not something they shy away from or avoid.
