About Agatha
Hello! I'm currently pursuing a Bachelor of English Education at the Philippine Normal University, one of the country's leading institutions for teacher education. My academic training has equipped me with the knowledge and teaching strategies needed to help students develop their English skills in an engaging and supportive learning environment.
I am passionate about helping learners improve their grammar, reading, writing, vocabulary, speaking, and overall confidence in English. I believe that every student learns differently, so I take the time to understand each learner's needs and adapt my lessons accordingly.
As a tutor, I value patience, professionalism, and open communication. I prepare my lessons carefully, encourage students to ask questions, and provide constructive feedback to help them make steady progress. As a Bachelor of English Education student at the Philippine Normal University, I strive to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, practicing their skills, and gaining confidence in using English.
My teaching approach is student-centered and interactive. I adapt each lesson based on the learner's goals, strengths, and learning pace. Whether you need help with grammar, reading comprehension, writing, vocabulary, speaking, or preparing for school assessments, I provide clear explanations and engaging activities to make learning effective and enjoyable.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previous topics, followed by introducing a new concept through examples and guided discussions. Students then practice what they have learned through exercises, conversations, or writing activities. I provide constructive feedback throughout the lesson to help students improve and become more confident English users.
What sets me apart is my academic training as a future English teacher. Through my studies at the Philippine Normal University, I have developed lesson planning, classroom management, and learner-centered teaching strategies that allow me to support students with patience and understanding.
