About Diana
Teacher, artist and bilingual translator. I also speak French and Dutch! I offer private lessons in English, with a methodology and content tailored to your needs. I lived in the UK for 4 years and I have a Masters in Socio-Cultural Linguistics (Goldsmiths University, London). Extensive experience as a teacher in language schools (The English Academy, Brussels, Business Language and Communication Center, Leuven) as well as with individual pupils in Brussels. 30 € / hour I can come to your place. It depends on the needs and interests of the student. There is no standard methodology and I discuss the possibilities with each student during the first session. Some of my classes are structured as a free conversation, or I take notes with small comments and give grammar pieces. In addition, I use grammar books (Murphy), vocabulary (English in use), games (Taboo, BrainBox), I have some simplified English books that can help with vocabulary and comprehension. I also use the online resources of BBC Learning English - podcasts, news, series of videos on a theme.
